Recipe for rose hip tea...
Pick as many rosehips as you think will last you the year, wash them thoroughly.
Top and tail them.
Either dry them in a dehydrator (many air fryers have this function), spread out in a warm and dry place on some news paper, or on the lowest setting in your oven.
Once fully dried they'll be hard.
Blitz them up in a food processor or blender.
Sieve them to remove the irritating hairs, leaving behind the shells and seeds.
Store in a jar ready for use.
To make the tea add 1-2 teaspoons per cup to a tea pot and strain. Alternatively use 1-2 teaspoons in a personal tea infuser/strainer for one cup. Add sugar, lemon and or honey if desired.
